With BMI Calculator application gives you quick access to the coefficient that indicates whether you are above, below or within the ideal weight.
Sex field, just select between female and male. In the second field enter the height in meters (enter only numbers the application takes care of the point) and the third field enter the weight. Then just click on "Calculate BMI".
Besides the number, you get a quick phrase that indicates what your situation. The BMI calculation is done by dividing the weight (in kilograms) by height (in meters) squared.
The application was developed for Android platform by the students Poliana Secundino and Daniele Gomes in the technical course in information technology (PRONATEC) the Pythagorean School of Teixeira de Freitas / BA coordinated by Emerson Santana teacher who teaches the discipline of language and programming logic.
